Types of Assistance

Project Grants

Range and Average of Financial Assistance

Fellowships, Teaching Development Fellowships, and Awards for Faculty: An award of $4,200 per month for a grant period of from 3 to 12 months. Summer Stipends: All awards are $6,000 for a grant period of 8 weeks.

Length and Time Phasing of Assistance

Fellowships are held from 6 to 12 months, with payment in quarterly installments. Summer Stipends are held for 2 consecutive months, with stipends disbursed in one payment. Awards for Faculty may support activities from 2 to 12 months, with payments in quarterly installments. Teaching Development Fellowships are held from 3 to 5 months, with payment in quarterly installments. Method of awarding/releasing assistance: by letter of credit.
