Morris K. Udall Fellowship Program - (Dissertation Fellowship Program) - #85.401

Assistance is intended for the use of Fellows only. Fellowships fund living and educational expenses for a period of twelve months while a fellow pursues full-time writing of the dissertation. Fellows are required to pursue their projects full time during the fellowship year, July 1 - June 30.




Applicants must have completed all course work, passed all preliminary exams and had the dissertation research proposal or plan approved. Dissertation fellowships are open to scholars in the area of environmental public policy and environmental conflict resolution. Applicants must be full-time candidates in the final year of writing their dissertation and anticipate receiving their degree at the end of the fellowship year. Applicants attending any accredited institution of higher education in the United States will be eligible to apply. This program is excluded from coverage under OMB Circular No. A-87.
