Program Objectives

To prepare qualified individuals for careers that significantly impact the Nation’s primary care research agenda. Within the framework of the program’s longstanding commitment to excellence and projected need for investigators in particular areas of research, attention must be given to recruiting individuals with proven experience in biomedical and behavioral sciences.
