Research grant applications exceeding $500,000 direct costs in any yearly budget period will not be accepted unless the NINDS has agreed to accept the application prior to submission (see Environmental impact information is not required for this program. This program is excluded from coverage under E.O. 12372.

OMB Circular No. A-102 applies to this program. OMB Circular No. A-110 applies to this program. NIH has transitioned to the SF424 family of forms and electronic submission through Grants.govby research program or funding mechanism. For applications to be submitted electronically, see Effective with the August 8, 2009 submission date, all grant applications for the Individual National Research Service Award (NRSA) Fellowships (F-series) will require electronic submission through to eRA Commons. Paper applications will not be accepted for submissions on or after the August 8 transition. The change from paper submission to electronic applications for grant programs that includes Career Development (K12 and K30)) and Training & Development (T&D) has been rescheduled to begin with electronic submission on/after January 25, 2010.
