Uses and Use Restrictions
Assistance may be used to: 1. provide awards and scholarships to students who submitted winning designs in State/Territory rounds of the Junior Duck Stamp Contest; 2. provide awards to schools and other program participants in order to promote the conservation goals of the program; and 3. cover program outreach and marketing costs.
Credentials/Documentation
43 CFR Part 12 establishes requirements for grants awarded by agencies of the U.S. Department of the Interior. OMB Circular No. A-87 applies to this program.
Criteria for Selecting Proposals
Cooperative agreements are awarded based on unique technical expertise and knowledge of the Junior Duck Stamp Program, background in natural resources, knowledge of conservation practices and environmental education experience. In addition, the ability to provide partnership support and volunteers is essential.
